Model U.N.
The Model United Nations provides educational programs engaging students in current issues. The simulations and conferences attended by our students help prepare them to be better global citizens.
The different programs offer a forum for discussing global concerns in a context that closely parallels the "real world." Students and faculty work feverishly to propose resolutions addressing regional conflicts, peacekeeping, human rights, women’s and children’s rights, economic and social development, and the environment. The programs provide students with a better understanding of the inner working of the United Nations as they build diplomacy, compromise, negotiation and debating skills.
Students often participate in an annual international conference held in the United States. (Harvard, Yale, Washington D.C., and New York).
The FUNDGLODE sponsors the international conference (CILA) and also develops different activities during the year, where young people have the opportunity to be part of the actions taken to have a positive effect on society.
