Accreditation
Puntacana International School is an educational institution recognized by the Dominican Ministry of Education (MINERD). The school follows the official programs of MINERD in the Spanish curriculum; and in English following the U.S. Common Core State Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards meeting the curricular levels for international schools. The school is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), which is a recognized institution known for its high standards of excellence in international education and accreditation.
This process involves self-reflection, peer review-work and best practices as integral components of its assessment process; it monitors follow-up endeavors that lead to continuous school/program improvement.
For the past ten years this process has provided us with the necessary tools to deliver a quality international educational service, where the emphasis is on continuous progress in student learning and also acts as a benchmark for future employers and university admissions as an indicator of educational quality.

The Puntacana International School is located in the Puntacana Village, part of the Puntacana Resort & Club, in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
